Thank you for checking out these INSANE Vintage Y2K Zanotti Jeweled Kissing Elephant heeled sandals!
These Stunning heels are truly Rare and Archival worthy. Perfect for collectors, or for a Wow statement piece!!
They are so rare that I have never seen another pair like this.
They are from Zanotti's peak golden Y2K era when his designs were like fine jewelry and featured elaborate jeweled animals.
Following is what "Google Images" said about them when I searched:
Are They Archival Pieces?
Yes, these sandals are considered archival pieces.
These rare, vintage Giuseppe Zanotti Gold Crystal Embellished Elephant Metallic Sandals feature ornate, jeweled elephant charms placed perfectly over the toes. The elephant theme pairs beautifully
with the gold paisley print on the insoles.
They hail from a highly collectible era of Giuseppe Zanotti design. In fashion, "archival" means a piece from a past designer collection that holds historic or cultural value. [1]
Why They Are Archival
The Golden Era of Zanotti (Early 2000s/Y2K): These shoes come from a time when the designer was famous for making shoes that looked like fine jewelry. His signature style back then featured metallic
fabrics, intricate prints, and crystal-encrusted animals. [1, 2, 3]
Highly Collectible: Because they were made in limited numbers years ago, they are very rare. Specialty high-end vintage shops like Sororité Vintage and Guzzi Archive curate and sell these exact jeweled
animal heels to fashion collectors. [1]
Pop Culture Icon Status: This era of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes is heavily tied to Y2K pop culture. It is the same era that produced the famous "Slim" fishbone sandals worn on Sex and the City
, making this entire generation of his footwear highly prized today. [1, 2]
How Much Are They Worth?
Specialty Vintage Archives ($600 – $750+): Curated luxury fashion archives, such as Sororité Vintage, can command top dollar—often pricing rare Y2K Giuseppe Zanotti animal and floral heels right around
$650 due to their curation and demand. [1, 2]
What Drives the Value Up?
Crystals: The rhinestone elephant is the centerpiece. If all crystals are present, the value significantly increases.
Insole Wear: The metallic gold paisley print is prone to rubbing off from footprints. Clear, crisp printing pushes the price to the higher end.
Size: Popular sizes (US 7 to 9 / IT 37 to 39) tend to sell faster and for more money than outlier sizes. [1, 2]

WHY VINTAGE?

It Already Exists

Vintage isn’t “produced” it’s rediscovered.
Choosing vintage reduces waste, overproduction, and the environmental cost of creating something new.

Quality You Can Feel

Most vintage was made with heavier fabrics, real hardware, and craftsmanship that’s rare today.
It’s why these pieces last decades, not seasons.

Style With a Story

Vintage means no mass drops, no repeats, no algorithms deciding what you wear.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind which is why it is so special.
